Al Hilal GRP filament winding tanks provide durable, watertight storage for Drinking water, Irrigation water, wastewater and other compatible liquids. Manufactured in Oman by automatic filament winding from vinyl ester resin, polyester resin, Isopthalic gelcoat, and glass-fibre reinforcement, they are engineered to prevent leakage into the surrounding soil and protect the stored contents.
Available from 800 to 30,000 USG in cylindrical form, for underground or above-ground installation, with access covers, inlet and outlet connections and stiffener supports arranged to each approved drawing.
Al Hilal Fiber & Acrylic Ind. offers a comprehensive range of GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) filament winding tanks for reliable underground and above-ground storage. Designed for the needs of different industries, each tank is carefully engineered to be completely watertight, so stored liquids cannot leak into the surrounding soil, protecting both the environment and the integrity of the contents.
The tanks are made by automatic filament winding using vinyl ester resin, polyester resin, Isopthalic gelcoat with chopped strand mat and woven roving mat reinforcement, producing a strong, uniform, corrosion-resistant shell. For the tank, stiffener supports are built in along the shell. Each tank is checked against its approved drawing, Barcol hardness is tested to ASTM D2583, and every unit is visually inspected. Hydrostatic (leak) testing is available on customer request.
Design and construction details follow BS 4994. Installation instructions are supplied with every shipment. AHF operates under quality procedures conforming to ISO 9001:2015. Capacities from 800 to 30,000 USG are available, in underground and above-ground versions.
