Al Hilal's GRP/FRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) water tanks are built for reliable, long-term water storage in Oman's demanding climate. Made from polyester resin reinforced with chopped strand mat and woven roving mat, each tank is hand-laid to your specification. The result is a strong, lightweight, corrosion-free tank that won't rust, flake or need repainting.
Available in capacities from 800 to 26,000 USG, with food-grade materials for drinking water storage.
The Al Hilal GRP Water Tank is a horizontal cylindrical, above-ground storage tank for residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. Manufactured in Rusayl Industrial City, Oman, by Al Hilal Fiber & Acrylic Ind. LLC, it is made from polyester resin, chopped strand mat and woven roving mat using the hand lay-up method.
Unlike steel or concrete tanks, GRP does not corrode, so it won't rust, rot or contaminate the water. It is also lighter than steel or concrete, which makes transport and installation easier. Walls are reinforced at stress points, and each tank sits on moulded pedestals over a concrete foundation for stable, long-lasting support.
Because every tank is built to order, we can adapt outlet positions, fittings and accessories to your site. Production follows an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and every tank goes through leak testing, hardness testing, visual inspection and dimensional verification before dispatch.
